Brighten Your Season with More than Candles
Worship leaders, choir, and congregation come together in this interactive celebration of Advent
JOURNEY BY CANDLELIGHT TO THE MANGER is a musical presentation designed to enhance the traditional lighting of the Advent wreath. The program can be separated into five sessions–one for each Sunday of Advent and Christmas Eve– or presented as a complete program with a run time of approximately 20 minutes.
The program retells the journey from the prophecy to the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ. It is designed for easy rehearsals regardless of choir size, but especially designed with 2-part/SAB choirs in mind.
Each lighting of a candle includes a scripture reading, a reflective reading, a traditional carol and an original choral anthem.
